Customers Case 1
“The txt file contains the log lines of the OLT before the ONU 1/6/3 presented the problem, and after we restored it. The log correspond to the file on the /var/log/ directory on the OLT.
The images are captures of software “GEPON 2010 EMS”. Those ones which start with “ONU_ERR”, belong to the ONU with problems, the other ones belong to the rest.”

“We had two problems:
First: The ONU devices that depend on PON1 port, are registered, but have no traffic at all. When we access the web via the DEBUG port (to diagnose), we see that the PON1 port has no link and the rest (all 9) have link OK. You can confirm that the port is working and flowing traffic through it?

Second: the IP addresses configured in section “configure – mgmt – inband”, don’t work (eg: inband enable ip 10.10.10.17/24 VID 1). The IP is shown correctly in the console, but it can’t be reached. Could you test that? Thanks.”

“I need to transmit ethernet frames over 1500 bytes of payload (jumbo frame) from a device connected to a SNI port in the OLT, to another device behind the ONU.
The Option “long frame pass” are enabled for the SNI ports and PON ports, but there is nothing related to the ONU’s ethernet ports.
since I can not transmit jumbo frame packets, is there some limitation on the ONU’s ethernet interfaces?
If both devices are connected in the port SNI1 and port SNI2, the jumbo frames are transmited ok.”
